Folders in Roundcube are missing

Missing Folders in Roundcube Webmail

If your folders (Sent, Drafts, Trash, Junk, or custom folders) are not showing in Roundcube webmail, they need to be subscribed.

How to Fix

  1. Log into Roundcube webmail
  2. Click Settings (gear icon) in the left sidebar
  3. Click Folders
  4. You will see a list of all available folders with checkboxes. Check the folders you want to see in your folder list.
  5. Click Save

The missing folders should now appear in your mailbox sidebar. This is an IMAP subscription issue, not a data loss issue. Your messages are still on the server even when the folders are not visible.

If a folder does not appear in the subscription list at all, it may not have been created yet. You can create new folders from the same Settings > Folders screen by clicking the + button.
