Change your cPanel password

Changing Your cPanel Password

You can change your cPanel hosting control panel password through your client area. Here is how.

Method 1: Through the Client Area (Recommended)

  1. Log into my.ultrawebhosting.com
  2. Go to Services > My Services
  3. Click on your hosting plan
  4. Look for the Change Password option in the sidebar or actions menu
  5. Enter your new password and save

Method 2: Inside cPanel

  1. Log into your cPanel at https://yourdomain.com:2083
  2. In the Preferences section, click Password & Security
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice
  4. Click Change your password now

Password Tips

  • Use a strong password with at least 12 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
  • Do not reuse passwords from other accounts
  • Your cPanel password is separate from your client area password and your email passwords
  • Changing your cPanel password will also change your main FTP account password since they share the same credentials

If you cannot log into cPanel or the client area to change your password, open a support ticket and we can reset it for you.
