How do I recover my client area password?

Billing | Updated 2026

If you have forgotten your client area password (the login at my.ultrawebhosting.com, not cPanel), you can reset it using the password reset link on the login page.

Client Area vs cPanel

Your client area password and cPanel password are separate. Resetting one does not change the other. To change your cPanel password, see How to Change Your Password. If you cannot access either, see Unable to Login to Control Panel.

If you no longer have access to the email address on the account, contact support with your account details for manual identity verification.

Cannot Access Your Email?

If the reset email goes to an address you no longer have access to, we can update it after verifying your identity.

Quick Recap

  1. Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page
  2. Enter your account email
  3. Check email for reset link
  4. Client area and cPanel passwords are separate
  5. No email access? Contact support for manual verification
