Changing concurrent connections in smartftp

  1. Open SmartFTP.
  2. Click on the Tools menu and select Settings.
  3. In the Transfer tab, you will see a setting called Number of Workers. This setting controls the maximum number of concurrent connections that SmartFTP can make.
  4. To change the setting for concurrent connections, enter a new value in the Number of Workers field.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.

  • If you set the Number of Workers to a value lower than the number of files that you are trying to transfer, then SmartFTP will only be able to transfer a certain number of files at a time.
  • The number of concurrent connections that you can actually use will depend on the resources available on your computer and the FTP server that you are connecting to.
