Is Billing Automatic?
Yes, if you have a credit card on file, your hosting invoices are charged automatically on the due date. You do not need to log in each billing cycle to make a payment.
How It Works
- An invoice is generated approximately 14 days before your renewal date
- You receive an email notification with the invoice details
- On the due date, the card on file is charged automatically
- You receive a payment confirmation email
If Payment Fails
If the automatic charge fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), you will receive a notification. You can update your payment method by logging into your client area and going to Billing > Payment Methods. Your service remains active for a grace period while you update your payment information.
PayPal
If you pay via PayPal, automatic billing depends on whether you set up a PayPal subscription during signup. If not, you will need to log in and pay each invoice manually when it arrives.
