Creating Email Accounts and Aliases
Yes, you can create email accounts and email aliases (forwarders) at any time through your cPanel control panel.
Creating a New Email Account
- Log into cPanel at
https://yourdomain.com:2083 - Click Email Accounts in the Email section
- Click Create
- Enter the desired username (the part before @yourdomain.com)
- Set a strong password
- Optionally set a storage quota
- Click Create Account
Creating Email Aliases (Forwarders)
An email alias forwards messages to another address without needing its own mailbox. For example, you could create sales@yourdomain.com as a forwarder that sends all messages to your personal email.
- In cPanel, click Forwarders in the Email section
- Click Add Forwarder
- Enter the alias address and the destination email address
- Click Add Forwarder
You can also set up a catch-all address that receives email sent to any address at your domain that does not have its own account. However, be aware that catch-all addresses tend to attract spam. We recommend creating specific accounts or forwarders for the addresses you need rather than using a catch-all.
