Lightweight Browser for Older and Slower Computers

Are you looking for a faster up to date browser in this current age for your older computer on Windows XP or Vista and do not have SSE2 or a fast enough computer? Chrome and Opera both require SSE2 enabled processors in Windows which now prevents older computers from using them. The following are two browsers we recommend for older systems.

Maxthon 3 is based on Webkitwhich Chrome, and Safari uses and Trident which Internet Explorer browser uses. It has a lot of great useful features and has a modern look with tabs.

K-Meleon is a Web browser which uses the Gecko Firefox web browser. The interface is very basic but works with older operating systems. It is not updated often but is compact and light with lower system requirements.
