If you receive a 404 error when trying to access webmail, the URL you are using is likely incorrect or the webmail service needs to be restarted. Here are the correct URLs and fixes.
Use port 2096 for direct webmail access
https://yourdomain.com:2096https://yourdomain.com/webmailhttps://my.ultrawebhosting.com:2096
Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain. Log in with your full email address and password.
01. Common Causes
- Wrong URL - Using
/webmailwithout HTTPS, or using port 2095 (HTTP) instead of 2096 (HTTPS). Always usehttps://with port 2096. - Domain not pointed to our servers - If your domain's DNS is not pointing to Ultra Web Hosting, the webmail URL for that domain will not work. Use
https://my.ultrawebhosting.com:2096instead. - SSL certificate issue - If the SSL certificate for your domain has not been issued yet, the HTTPS webmail URL may show errors. Try the server hostname URL instead.
- Browser cache - A cached 404 page from a previous failed attempt. Clear cache or try incognito mode.
02. Alternative Access Methods
If the direct webmail URL is not working, you can access webmail through cPanel:
- Log into cPanel at my.ultrawebhosting.com
- Go to Email > Email Accounts
- Click "Check Email" next to the account
For more on webmail access, see Webmail URL Guide. If you cannot log in at all, see Webmail Access Denied.
