How do I remove a web disk?

Removing a Web Disk Account

 

To remove a Web Disk account from cPanel:

  1. Log into cPanel
  2. In the Files section, click Web Disk
  3. Find the Web Disk account you want to remove
  4. Click the Delete button next to it
  5. Confirm the deletion

 

Removing a Web Disk account does not delete the files it was pointed to. It only removes the WebDAV access point. Your files remain safely in their directory.

Web Disk is a cPanel feature that allows you to manage your hosting files as if they were a local drive on your computer using the WebDAV protocol. However, most users find FTP or cPanel File Manager easier and more reliable for file management.
