TeamSpeak requires a persistent background process and dedicated ports, which are not available on shared hosting. Our shared and reseller plans are designed for web hosting (HTTP/HTTPS traffic) and do not support voice server applications.
Options for Running TeamSpeak
If you need to run TeamSpeak or similar voice communication software:
- VPS or Dedicated Server - with root access you can install and run any software, including TeamSpeak, Mumble, or Discord bots. See our hosting comparison
- Third-party voice services - Discord, TeamSpeak hosting providers, and Mumble hosting services offer managed voice servers starting at a few dollars per month
