Faster Page Loads for WordPress Sites
We rolled out a new caching system across all of our shared hosting servers that serves your WordPress pages directly from nginx, completely bypassing PHP. If your site uses WP Rocket or AccelerateWP, cached pages now load in roughly 140 milliseconds. That is a huge improvement over traditional PHP processing, and it works automatically with no configuration needed on your end. When you update a page or post, the cache refreshes itself instantly.
A Better Website Experience
We redesigned and updated nearly every page on ultrawebhosting.com, including our shared hosting, VPS, WordPress, NGINX, dedicated server, and HIPAA hosting pages. Each page now has clearer descriptions of what is included with every plan, updated feature details, and helpful FAQ sections. We also fixed a mobile layout issue that was causing navigation tabs to break on smaller screens, so everything should look and work better on your phone now.
Our homepage features new promotional sliders, and the domain registration page now displays live, accurate pricing pulled directly from our system.
Improved Live Chat
We updated the styling and functionality of our live chat system across both the main website and the client portal. The chat window has a cleaner look and the experience should feel more polished when you reach out to us for help.
Expanded Knowledge Base
Our knowledge base now has over 300 updated guides, and we wrote 15 brand new articles covering the topics you ask about most. These include step-by-step guides for setting up email on your iPhone or Android, installing WordPress, migrating your site from another host, setting up SPF and DKIM email authentication, and recovering a hacked WordPress site.
We also introduced a new styled layout for our most important guides, making them easier to read and follow. Four new categories were added to help you find answers faster: htaccess and Redirects, Errors and Troubleshooting, SSL and HTTPS, and Website Tools and SEO.
Updated Webmaster Tools
Our free webmaster tools at tools.ultrawebhosting.com received a major update. Over 40 individual tools were refreshed, and several that had stopped working were completely rebuilt. The WHOIS Lookup at whois.ultrawebhosting.com and the Website Uptime Checker at upordown.ultrawebhosting.com both got fresh new designs. We also built a brand new DNS Health Report tool that checks your domain's nameservers, email configuration, SPF, DMARC, and HTTPS status all in one place.
